Wednesday Evening Fellowship Begins
We will begin our Wednesday Evening Fellowship with a potluck dinner at 6:00 p.m. on September 13th. We will be trying something new this fall with the menu.
The meal will be either prepared by a team from within the church or potluck. We will ask for a love offering with suggested pricing guidelines up to the individual (not to exceed $4 adult/$3 child). The menu will be announced in the bulletin the Sunday before and also on our website (www.fpcrm.org) RSVP’s will be by e-mail to fpcoffice@earthlink.net, using the Sunday morning Friendship Register, calling the church office (446-9121) or on the bulletin board outside Lacy Hall.
The last Wednesday night of each month will always be “Grill Night” with attendees bringing a side dish or dessert. Again, we will give this a try for the Fall and re-evaluate this dinner format in November to see how it is working. If interested in joining a cooking team, please contact Beth Turnage (443-7701 or bethturnage@cox.net.)
Our weekly schedule is as follows:
¨ First and Second Wednesdays will be an adult Bible study on spiritual development led by Pete Brown.
¨ Third Wednesdays, we will focus on our community with several different topics and speakers.
¨ On the fourth Wednesday of each month we will discuss ongoing programs and projects within the church.

Sept. 13: Cultivating the Spiritual Life—Pete Brown Sept. 20: Envisioning for the Future—Verna Gessaman Sept. 27: Operation Christmas Child—Dionne Seale and Pat Mauldin
