First Presbyterian strives to be a “nurturing growing church, living the gospel by caring for all the community.”

From early September through May, we have Sunday school for all ages beginning at 9:45 AM. Classes end at 10:30 and folks wander over to our fellowship hall for coffee, lemonade, and snacks.

Worship begins at 11:00 AM. There is a “time for children” each Sunday during worship, and young kids are invited afterward to join one of our ushers and head back to the Christian Education wing for extended worship time for the remainder of the service.

For those with even the littlest of children, childcare is provided for both Sunday school and worship, but kids of all ages are always welcome in worship.

In the summer, our Sunday school classes take a break and we worship at 10:00 AM, followed by a time of fellowship with lemonade and cookies just outside our sanctuary.

We have a plethora of ways to involve yourself in the life and work of our community of faith! Middle and High School youth groups meet most Sunday nights during the school year and there are opportunities for children and adults to be part of one or more of our choirs. There are a variety of missions we support that you can become involved with, and we have tons of educational opportunities, too. Browse our website to learn all the ways you can get plugged in.
