Then they told what had happened . . . how he had been made known to them in the breaking of the bread.
~ Luke 24.35
From September through April, members of our church gather for food, fellowship and study. Children’s choirs meet at 5:30 p.m. Dinner follows at 6 p.m., and a study program with one of the pastors begins at 6:45 p.m. Check the calendar for details. Study programs usually conclude by 7:30 p.m. Handbells rehearse at 6:30 p.m. and the Chancel choir rehearses at 7:30 p.m.
Each month, a dedicated group of volunteers hosts and prepares a lunch for the seniors of our congregation. Because the food is always delicious and the fellowship is always warm, “Lunch Bunch” gatherings are highly-anticipated events in our church.
The Lunch Bunch typically meets on the third Monday of each month from September through May. Please call the church for details.
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ
and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
To support the mission of the church world wide,
To work for justice and peace,
To build an inclusive, caring community of women
that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA)
and to witness to the promises of God’s Kingdom
The Circle of Friends
The Circle of Friends meets each second Monday at 7:00 pm at a member’s home.
The Circle of J.O.Y.
The Circle of J.O.Y. (which sets its priorities as Jesus – Others – Yourself) meets at the church on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m.
The Presbyterian Women Coordinating Team
The PWCT meets the first Monday of every month at 10:30 a.m. in the church’s History Room.
For information on these and other fellowship opportunities for women, contact the church office at 252-446-9121.
Because a family that plays together stays together, our “In-Betweens” group meets periodically for food and fellowship. Whether these gatherings occur in homes or in local restaurants, a good time is always had by all.
The schedule of events in this group varies. For more information, please check newsletters and bulletins or call the church for details.
