Dear Friends,
I never imagined a time in my life when we would be celebrating Holy Week in isolation. Palm Sunday is about celebration in community. Maundy Thursday is about a new commandment where we are supposed to be in communion with one another. Good Friday demands that the story of God’s love in the pain of the crucifixion be read and heard by the church. Easter! Easter should be welcomed and celebrated in joyful presence rather than a computer screen. Yet, here we are. To help you in your walk of faith this weekend, here is what will be available:
Later this week I will post a video of a reading of the Passion narrative along with music. We’ll send an email with a link and ideas for a contemplative time as an approach to the cross.
For Easter, we’ve recorded some great music, and I’m working on the service for you to watch and participate with online. Again, we’ll send an email to help you.
          With Love and Gratitude,
