Praise the LORD!
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
~ Psalm 111:1

A welcoming, traditional service of worship is offered each Sunday morning at First Presbyterian Church. Visitors are warmly invited to all services.

Sunday Morning Schedule

During the period beginning on the Sunday after Labor Day (the “Rally Day” for our Sunday School Program) and ending on the Sunday before Memorial Day Weekend, the Sunday morning schedule is as follows:

9:45-10:30 Sunday School for all ages
10:30-10:50 Morning Rehearsal for Choirs
10:30-10:50 Reception/Refreshments
11:00-12:00 Worship in the sanctuary

During the summer, worship is at 10:00 am. This schedule goes from Memorial Day weekend through the first Sunday in September. There is no Sunday School during the summer, but we do enjoy lemonade and cookies together after worship!

Children in Worship

We encourage the participation of children in our worship services.  Services specify a time for children that includes prayer and a simple biblical message.  After the message, younger children leave the sanctuary for their own children’s church time.  Infant and toddler nurseries are also provided for all Sunday morning activities.

The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is typically celebrated the first Sunday of every month and on special days during the liturgical year (including Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve and others).  In accordance with the Book of Order of the PC(U.S.A.), all baptized persons (whether children or adults) are entitled to participation in the Lord’s Supper.  Home communion is also offered to those unable to attend.
